As a Legal Administrative Assistant at Westman Community Law Centre, you will provide comprehensive secretarial, reception, and legal support. Your work includes formatting, editing, proofreading, and distributing correspondence, memos, and legal documents. You will also maintain files and communicate with legal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, format, edit, proofread, and distribute legal documents
- Communicate with clients, courts, Crown's Office, and opposing counsel
- Receive, screen, and direct inquiries for lawyers




- Maintain paper and electronic filing and records systems
- Track, organize, and maintain legal information accurately

Requirements:

- Legal Assistant Certificate or equivalent education and experience
- Legal administrative experience in family or criminal law
- Experience maintaining physical and electronic legal files
- Solid written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage confidential material and tight deadlines
