Our client is a growing architectural firm specializing in retail environments, seeking a Junior Retail Architect. You will support shopping centers, flagship stores, and pop-up experiences across the Northern Cape and beyond. The work includes concept development, material selection, and coordination with project teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for retail projects
- Develop concepts through brainstorming and design sessions
- Measure existing conditions during renovation site visits
- Create 2D and 3D drawings using industry-standard software
- Assist with materials, finishes, and fixture selection
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification
- Registration or eligibility with SACAP as candidate architect
- Zero to three years of postgraduate architectural design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio showcasing relevant academic or early-career design work
