ISL’s Municipal Infrastructure Planning Team
is a collaborative group of 13 individuals across Alberta and BC focused on planning and optimizing municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. We combine expertise in hydraulic modelling, master planning, and sustainable development to support infrastructure delivery across Western Canada. Our team is currently part of the larger Water Team which is made up of 30 individuals who have close working relationships centered around water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. We have expertise in water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations and reservoirs, linear infrastructure for collection and distribution and of course water resources planning.

About The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively liaise with clients. While no two days look the same, you can expect to:Plan, analyze, and design urban hydraulic systems (potable water distribution, wastewater collection and stormwater drainage)Complete hydrologic and hydraulic modelling of complex urban drainage systems using state of the art softwareApply your innovative and unique perspective to plan systems that a municipality can be proud of today and in the futureContribute to the learning and progression of artificial intelligence and automation in our industryComplete and submit proposalsLeverage your strong skills in water,
