Provide cardiac surgery nursing care in person at St. Boniface Hospital’s Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Unit in Winnipeg. Bring current CRNM registration and inpatient experience.

The Registered Nurse (N2) works within the Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Unit, CR4C, as part of the Winnipeg Health Region. This clinical position requires one year of CSIU, surgical nursing, or cardiology nursing experience. Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care within the Cardiac Surgery Inpatient Unit
- Practice within the Regulated Health Professions Act scope
- Complete scheduled Advanced Assessment Course requirements
- Maintain annual BLS Level C registration or re-registration

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Maintain current registration with the CRNM
- One year of CSIU, surgical, or cardiology nursing experience
- Participate actively in qualified associations, preferably ARNM
- Complete required criminal and abuse registry checks
