Lead Cargojet flights as a Captain responsible for aircraft safety, flight operations, and crew coordination across its overnight cargo network.
This Captain position requires an Airline Transport Pilot License and extensive transport jet pilot-in-command experience. You will oversee pre-flight preparation, in-flight compliance, fuel monitoring, dispatch communication, and post-flight reporting. The role supports Cargojet’s all-cargo operations across North America.
Key Responsibilities: Operate aircraft safely with responsibility for everyone onboard
Review routes, weather, fuel, equipment, and aircraft airworthiness
Coordinate flight controls and First Officer duties
Follow regulations, manuals, checklists, and operating procedures
Complete logs, reports, notifications, and post-flight security procedures
Requirements: Valid Airline Transport Pilot License
5,000 hours total flight time
3,000 hours Transport Jet PIC experience
Canadian Passport and unrestricted travel eligibility
ICAO English Language Proficiency level 4
