Asenior Software Developer ETL is required to provide best practicemigration solutions and oversee all facilities of the data and filesmigration from legacy application to a new solution

Providebest practice migration solutions and oversee all facilities of the dataand files migration from legacy application to a new solution.

Establisha strong working relationship with clients, interact effectively at alllevels and analyses legacy data and files stored in a variety of datasources and formats.

Analyzeand complete data profiling and suggest any pre migration data cleansingactivities.

Completedata migration strategy, data mapping, define interfaces, perform mockconversion, define enhancements and perform actual conversion.

Requiredto translate technical systems specifications into working, testedapplications. This includes developing detailed programmingspecifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-drivenprograms, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

Resolveand troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the use andoperation of software packages, including technical assistance inimplementation, conversion and migrations

Workwith importing files from heterogeneous platforms and coordinates datafile migration.

Definetesting strategy, plan and conducts testing to ensure data integrity anddata comparisons.

Performpost migration audit and data reconciliation.

Generatedata migration exception reporting and perform data cleansing as required.

Providespre- and post-effective conversion support to business clients

Requirements Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:





7+ years of experience developing and documenting ETLprocesses for data conversion and migration projects.

Extensive experience with:

Data migration and migration planning for digitaltransformation initiatives.

Migrating data from legacy applications to modernizedsolutions using ETL methodologies.

Relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, andAzure SQL Database.

Complex SQL development, data analysis, data validation, andtechnical problem resolution.

Experience with:

Migrating document attachments from legacy systems tomodernized solutions.

ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, orsimilar technologies.

Developing ETL and data migration documentation, including:

ETL mappings

Business cases

Data migration strategies and plans

Skill Set Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements :

7+years of experience in developing and documenting ETL for data conversionand migration

Extensiveexperience in data migration and migration planning in terms of digitaltransformation, ETL experience in migrating data from legacy applicationsto modernized solutions.

Extensiveexperience with various database structures and RDMS like Oracle, MS SQLServer, Azure SQL Database, and write complex SQL queries, conduct dataanalysis, data validation, and solve complex technical problems





Experiencein migrating document attachments from legacy solution to a current modernizedsolution.

Experienceworking in cloud DB technologies (such as Azure SQL).

Experienceworking with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, etc.

Experiencein development of documentation such as ETL mappings, data dictionaries,business case, data migration strategy and plan.

Knowledgeand understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policiesand practices.

Excellentunderstanding of master data and transactional data concepts andinterdependencies.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Fulllife-cycle data conversion experience with enterprise systems, includingdeployment experience.

Experienceworking with all steps of data migration activities such as dataprofiling, data mapping, developing data migration solutions, datavalidation and audit.

Proficiencyin query languages such as SQL, PL-SQL.

Familiaritywith and construction of complex query statements.
