As a Senior Software Developer, you will maintain existing capabilities and deliver quality features for OpenText Content Services. You will use Java, microservices, Kafka, relational databases, and hyperscale cloud platforms while solving complex client problems. The work includes technical leadership, design, and mentoring less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own projects aligned with the team’s quarterly delivery cadence
- Decompose client problems into interacting software component designs
- Maintain capabilities and deliver quality product features
- Serve as technical lead and foster teammate development
- Address issues affecting client needs with management collaboration
Requirements:
- Six or more years developing enterprise software products
- Strong Java, J2EE, Spring Web Services, and API proficiency
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
- Experience with relational databases and object-oriented design
- Docker, orchestration, Git, Maven, testing, and Tomcat experience
