Support Canon printing equipment across Ottawa as a Service Technician, applying troubleshooting expertise through a rotating on-call schedule. This position is 100% remote.

Canon Canada seeks a Service Technician to maintain complex printer solutions for its customer base. You will install, deinstall, relocate, and service printer systems, including pre- and post-equipment and software. The work requires analytical troubleshooting, technical service experience, and customer-focused delivery against Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on printer systems
- Install, deinstall, and relocate equipment at customer sites
- Maintain customer satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements




- Escalate unresolved problems through predefined service procedures
- Maintain parts inventory, diagnostic, and physical tools

Requirements:

- Electrical or mechanical degree, vocational, or technical school degree
- Mechanical aptitude and technical service experience
- Solid analytical skills for equipment review and troubleshooting
- Basic computer, technical, and equipment operation skills
- Ability to work rotating 24/7 schedules and travel occasionally
