* | | ||CMC Electronics invites people who share our determination and high standards to join us and work to change the world.SUMMARY:The Configuration control Specialist, class 3, works under the general supervision of a more experienced team member.

They are responsible for configuration support and/or document management for design engineering projects. Under the general supervision of a group leader, they provide the execution and configuration support required for the program. Liaises primarily with the engineering and drawing teams. Adheres to configuration standards, plans, and work instructions for all types of engineering deliverables, including software, engineering, and manufacturing documents.

Supports change initiatives within the department.TASKS:· Performs tasks related to at least one type of configuration product, whether software files, technical drawings, or manufacturing documents.
· Interacts with internal customers, editors, engineers, quality assurance, the airworthiness group, the marketing department, and other employees regarding project configuration.




· Provides support for the review, formatting, and preparation of documents for internal customers.
· Produces activity reports.
· Supports process improvement initiatives related to department configuration.
· Provides support to engineers and users regarding configuration management tools and processes.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

EXIGENCES:
· College diploma in administration or related discipline.
· Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
· Familiarity with managing at least one type of configuration product (including software files, technical drawings, or manufacturing documents).
· A certificate in information management or equivalent is desirable.
· Experience performing tasks requiring knowledge of configuration management standards and techniques.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Bilingualism (oral and written, French and English).
