Toromont Cat seeks a Resident Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment, for full-time permanent field service. The position uses a Toromont Service truck to support customers throughout Muskoka Region and surrounding areas. You will repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment while supporting secure, environmentally sound work behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
- Repair Caterpillar equipment within established field time standards
- Visit customer sites regularly throughout the Muskoka Region
- Maintain trusted customer relationships through excellent communication
- Support Toromont's Health and Safety Culture
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education related to heavy equipment mechanics
- Minimum three years post-apprenticeship technician experience
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license; DZ license preferred
- 421A license valued as an asset
