ECM seeks a Maintenance Labourer for a hard-rock open-pit mining project near St. Lawrence, Newfoundland and Labrador. This hands-on position supports Heavy Duty Mechanics with routine maintenance, equipment servicing, and preventative maintenance. The work requires dependable performance in shop and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Heavy Duty Mechanics with routine maintenance activities
- Assist with fuelling, lubrication, and fluid level checks
- Identify basic equipment components, parts, and requirements
- Maintain a clean, secure, organised maintenance shop
- Move, stage,
and organise tools, parts, and materials
Requirements:
- Maintenance, mechanical, industrial, or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and basic component familiarity considered assets
- Comfort working around large mobile mining equipment
- Physical capability for hands-on labour and uneven terrain
- Valid driver's licence and acceptable driver's abstract
