Coordinate school meals and centralized deliveries for School District 43 in Coquitlam through food preparation, inventory, and kitchen operations. This casual on-call work supports school sites across the district.

The School Meals Coordinator reports to the Chef Instructor/Principal and liaises with school administrators. Responsibilities include ordering catered meals, organizing snacks, preparing lunches and light breakfasts, delivering food, and maintaining designated eating areas. The position supports effective delivery of the School Meals Program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Order, organize, and distribute catered meals and snacks
- Assist with food supply ordering, restocking, and inventory
- Prepare and deliver hot or cold meals to schools




- Operate mixers, food processors, ovens, and dishwashers
- Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, tables, and eating areas

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education or equivalent training and experience
- Active Food Protected Level 1 certification
- Knowledge of Canada Food Guide and nutrition
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
- Personal vehicle and delivery insurance required
