Operate aircraft de-icing trucks at YHZ in Goffs, Nova Scotia, using safety-focused equipment handling and clear radio communication. This full-time seasonal position supports winter aviation operations.

As an Aircraft Deicer with The Inland Group of Companies, you will work with IDS and Quantem Aviation Services. You will de-ice aircraft during inclement weather, follow airline procedures, and protect people, aircraft, and airfield equipment. The work includes equipment checks, fluid testing, documentation, and pad shutdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate de-icing trucks safely near aircraft and airfield personnel
- Perform equipment checks and service equipment with fuel or glycol
- Monitor apron traffic before beginning aircraft de-icing




- Communicate clearly with operators and stakeholders by two-way radio
- Complete paperwork, logbooks, inspections, and shutdown procedures

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft programs knowledge
- Ability to obtain RAIC and AVOP credentials

Support secure aircraft turnaround at YHZ through de-icing operations, equipment inspections, fluid testing, and precise communication.
