Support resident wellness with therapeutic recreation, assessments, and program development at Cogir Senior Living's retirement residences. This role serves older adults.

Reporting to the Active Living Manager, the Recreation Therapist provides comprehensive, resident-focused recreation services. The work enhances lives and maximizes wellness across independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Interventions engage residents in all dimensions of wellness while meeting applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate day-to-day therapeutic recreation services
- Complete initial and ongoing Therapeutic Recreation Assessments
- Develop and facilitate resident-centered recreation programs
- Provide functional intervention, leisure education, and recreation participation




- Maintain current resident records and monthly recreation calendars

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in recreation therapy or related field
- Current qualified membership and scope-of-practice competency
- Minimum three years' experience working with seniors
- Assessment and resident-needs program development experience
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Vulnerable Position Screening
