As an experienced Finish Dozer Operator, you will support earthworks, underground utilities, road building, site development, and commercial or industrial projects. The work requires grading knowledge, equipment inspections, and coordination with foremen, grade crews, pipe crews, and surveyors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dozers safely on active construction sites
- Complete rough and finish grading to specifications
- Strip topsoil, backfill trenches, and spread material
- Read grade stakes, laser levels, and site plans
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs promptly
Requirements:
- Minimum three years operating dozers in civil construction
- Strong understanding of grading and earthmoving operations
- Ability to work safely around underground utilities
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work long hours during peak season
