Reporting to the Operations Manager, this Building Operator handles general maintenance and mechanical systems within Crown-managed buildings. The work includes tenant inquiries, work orders, inspections, contractors, safety procedures, and environmental programs. Candidates should understand building systems, maintenance practices, and property operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to tenant work orders, inquiries, issues, and complaints
- Perform inspections, testing, repairs, and maintenance across building systems
- Supervise scheduled maintenance, cleaning, HVAC, and life safety services
- Coordinate contractors, estimates,



purchase orders, and construction documentation
- Support emergencies, on-call duties, sustainability, and environmental reporting

Requirements:

- One to three years of property management experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, automation, safety, security, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction practices
- Current Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
- Valid Ontario Class G licence and reliable personal vehicle
