This CNC Punching Machine Operator position focuses on setting up turret punches and laser machines. You will load sheet steel with a forklift, maintain tooling, and follow production priorities. The work requires quality inspections, SAP MRP data collection, and adherence to operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC turret punches and laser machines
- Load sheet steel skids using a forklift
- Operate equipment under quality assurance procedures
- Complete maintenance and safety device inspections
- Record work order completions through SAP MRP terminals
Requirements:
- Five or more years operating and troubleshooting CNC laser equipment
- Amada CNC punching setup and operations experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience reading blueprints
- Comfort using calipers, height gauges, and protractors
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and communication skills
