About the role
The AV Installation Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing commercial audio-visual systems in a variety of customer environments.## Responsibilities
* Perform audio-visual system installation for our clients, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment, rack setup, video displays, cameras, projection systems, media rooms, audio systems and control systems
* Perform cable pulls, crimp, and terminate audio and video cables
* Assist with structural installation of displays, screens, and projectors
* Troubleshoot issues and perform final testing of installed systems
* All other duties as assigned/required## Qualifications
* Ability to read and follow building plans and wiring schematics




* Ability to lift heavy objects such as assisting with 80" displays or larger
* Ability to work off ladders and/or scaffolding
* Knowledgeable in computer and communication programs
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a high level of professionalism
* 1–2 years of AV installation experience
* Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract## Nice to have
* Basic tool knowledge and experience using a wide variety of tools
* Industry-related certifications
