As a General Labourer in Sample Preparation and Comminution, you will prepare client samples and perform test work. Responsibilities include operating crushers, mills, testers, and screens. You will maintain production logs, inspect equipment, clean laboratory areas, and follow established procedures. The work supports analytical quality and laboratory safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sieve, crush, homogenize, and split client samples
- Complete test work using Bond rod and ball mills
- Perform supervised work with specialized testing equipment
- Maintain production logs and inspect equipment routinely
- Perform screen analysis and follow established procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma
- Valuable communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
