Description

Align HCM is looking for an experienced Dayforce WFM System Consultant to join our growing Dayforce practice. You will own the Workforce Management workstream on end-to-end Dayforce implementations, from discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support. In this role, you will translate client timekeeping, scheduling, and labor requirements into practical, scalable Dayforce solutions, build client relationships grounded in trust, and keep growing your expertise across the Dayforce WFM product suite.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities

- Lead clients through end-to-end Dayforce WFM implementations, including discovery, requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Document and validate client business requirements and map them to Dayforce functionality, challenging requirements and recommending best practices where they add value.
- Configure and validate Dayforce Time & Attendance and Scheduling, including pay policies, pay codes, overtime and premium rules, attendance and accrual policies, scheduling rules, labor forecasting, and time clock (device) setup.
- Create data mapping from source timekeeping and scheduling systems to Dayforce,

write functional specifications for customizations, and partner with integration resources on WFM-to-payroll data flows such as hours, pay codes, and accrual balances.
- Build test scenarios and lead WFM testing, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and pay rule validation against time and payroll results; research, triage, and document defects through resolution.
- Plan and support cutover activities, including accrual balance loads, schedule setup, device deployment, and go-live readiness.
- Facilitate client workshops and working sessions, and produce clear design documents, configuration workbooks, and meeting notes.
- Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer so client teams can confidently own and maintain their solution.
- Manage multiple client engagements concurrently, tracking your time accurately, forecasting hours, and monitoring your own KPIs.
- Escalate risks and issues to project managers or practice leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to the Align Dayforce practice by documenting best practices, sharing solutions, mentoring teammates, and staying current on each Dayforce release.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on Dayforce implementation experience, including direct configuration of Dayforce WFM (Time & Attendance, Scheduling, accruals, and pay policies).

- Experience delivering full end-to-end Dayforce implementations, from discovery through go-live and post-go-live support.
- Strong understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, and labor practices, including FLSA overtime, state meal and break rules, and union or collective bargaining rules.
- Experience writing test scenarios, leading testing cycles, and troubleshooting and documenting defects.
- Ownership mindset, with the ability to take accountability for your work, deliver low-defect output, and proactively manage your own time and performance targets.
- Client-facing confidence, with the ability to earn client trust, engage stakeholders professionally, and handle feedback constructively.
- Solid written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present material and facilitate client working sessions.
- Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently, complete timesheets promptly, and meet or exceed utilization targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

These are strong pluses, not requirements. If you don't check every box, we still encourage you to apply.

- Experience using Dayforce Activate implementation tooling.
