CBN Nano Technologies is developing a scanning probe microscope and associated interfaces. This permanent position designs, builds, and tests applications for experimental workflows. You will create maintainable tools integrating laboratory instruments, data processing, and research processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop real-time data acquisition and instrument control software
- Build interactive visualization tools for researcher workflows
- Maintain RESTful APIs for automation and processing
- Collaborate with data, research, infrastructure, and operations experts
- Solve software problems across systems and technologies
Requirements:
- Four or more years of full stack development experience
- Strong Python proficiency and TypeScript experience
- Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, Linux, and Windows
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and English fluency
