Support recreation therapy at AgeCare Lakeview in Vancouver with program planning, resident activities, and compassionate senior care. This is a casual position.

The Recreation Aide assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates recreation therapy for residents. Working with the Recreation Manager and Executive Director, you will organize meaningful programs, document participation, communicate with families, and support scheduled outings. The position serves residents in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement meaningful resident recreation programs
- Prepare, carry out, and evaluate daily activities
- Maintain assessments, evaluations, participation records, and charting
- Facilitate scheduled and pre-arranged resident outings




- Communicate events with residents, families, volunteers, and staff

Requirements:

- College diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or Gerontology
- Previous experience working with seniors
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid provincial driver's license and Vulnerable Sector Check
