Registered Practical Nurses deliver resident-centred care at Cogir Senior Living, using clinical knowledge, communication, and critical thinking to support older adults.

This position provides planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards. RPNs work within a multidisciplinary team, build trusted relationships, and support residents, families, and colleagues. The work includes assessing care needs, updating plans, and guiding unregulated care providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
- Build trusted relationships through ongoing effective communication
- Implement and evaluate care plans, changing them as required
- Complete accurate clinical assessments, care plans,



and documentation
- Teach, delegate, direct, coach, and mentor care providers

Requirements:

- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
