Maintain Edmonton and Leduc facilities through HVACR troubleshooting, mechanical inspections, and responsive maintenance for Black & McDonald's Alberta team. Support protected, reliable building operations.
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will maintain client facilities while coordinating with the Facilities Management and Operations Project Manager. The work includes planned and responsive maintenance, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, subcontractor oversight, equipment maintenance, and tenant service. You will use FMO strategies to support continued facility operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tours, log readings, inspections, and equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot HVACR, electrical, plumbing, controls, and building systems
- Coordinate subcontractors,
verify completed work, and report deficiencies
- Respond promptly and safely to tenant service requests
- Complete preventive, corrective, and assigned work orders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-plus years of facilities maintenance experience
- Currently working toward Class 5 Power Engineering Certification
- Clean Class 5 Alberta Driver's License
- Availability for rotational after-hours emergency callouts
