This self-motivated analyst supports group disability benefits within Manulife's National Life, Disability & Wellness Team. The work involves calculating offsets, adjusting STD and LTD benefits, and explaining overpayments to Plan Members. You will use Navigator, apply group insurance contract provisions, and manage recovery discussions with empathy and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and code benefit offsets in Navigator
- Adjust Short Term and Long Term Disability benefits
- Explain overpayment amounts verbally and in writing
- Negotiate acceptable reimbursement plans when necessary
- Proceed with claim recoveries in Navigator
Requirements:
- Bilingual English and French communication skills
- Experience calculating disability benefits
- Solid mathematical skills and customer service focus
- Ability to interpret group insurance contracts
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word
