FLOFORM Countertops seeks a Long-Haul LTL Truck Driver for regular interprovincial transportation between branches and suppliers. The position alternates five-day Monday-to-Friday or Tuesday-to-Saturday routes several times annually. Responsibilities include operating a flatbed semi-truck, planning routes with GPS, loading cargo, and documenting deliveries. Regular overnight travel throughout Canada is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport countertops between branches and suppliers across Canada
- Follow assigned routes and report locations as required
- Load, unload, and record cargo deliveries
- Plan routes using the GPS system
- Report incidents and mechanical problems to supervisors
Requirements:
- Current Class 1 commercial driver's license
- Five years of long-haul driving experience
- One year handling step deck, double drop, or flatbed freight
- Forklift certification upon hire
- Ability to lift 100 pounds assisted
