Apply exceptional sample petrography and geosteering expertise as a Wellsite Geologist supporting onshore drilling projects across the WCSB. This is a Calgary-based contract role.
RPS Energy Canada Ltd., a Tetra Tech company, seeks experienced Wellsite Geologists to support its growing client base. The work requires expertise in onshore drilling environments, formation evaluation, drilling, and petrophysical data. Experience placing wellbores within reservoirs to achieve client objectives is central to the assignment.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret sample petrography for reservoir wellbore placement
Support geosteering activities to achieve client objectives
Evaluate formation, drilling, and petrophysical data
Support remote and field-based drilling projects
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geology
Experience in onshore drilling environments
Exceptional sample petrography and interpretation skills
Proficiency using Star Steer preferred
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Bring geosteering, petrography, and formation evaluation expertise to RPS projects supporting oil and gas operations throughout the WCSB.
