Lead nuclear electrical design with 2 D/3 D CAD at Atkins Réalis, supporting Ontario current builds, international projects, refurbishment, and plant modifications.
As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will prepare, modify, coordinate, and review design deliverables for nuclear power projects. The work includes plot plans, plant and equipment layouts, CAD procedures, and marked-up drawing updates. You will contribute through Auto CAD, Revit, Smart Plant SPEL, Smart Plant Foundation, Micro Station, and Navisworks.
Key Responsibilities: Lead system-level plot plan and equipment layout design
Review design deliverables for accuracy and consistency
Identify issues and protect schedule and budget
Manage scope changes with project teams
Coach others in technical and CAD skills
Requirements: College diploma or equivalent work experience
Minimum 10 years in mechanical design and drafting
Working knowledge of listed CAD and design software
Ability to incorporate markups into Auto CAD files
Strong interpersonal skills for independent and team work
