PIMCO seeks a Vice President supporting Canadian legal and compliance matters, with expertise in securities law and regulatory frameworks. This role serves Canada’s business.
As part of PIMCO’s Canadian Legal & Compliance team, you will advise the business and help oversee its compliance framework. The work spans investment fund management, portfolio management, exempt market dealer activities, public and private funds, and institutional and wealth management distribution. You will partner with senior leaders and global colleagues.
Key Responsibilities: Provide Canadian securities law and compliance advice
Enhance policies, procedures, controls, and compliance monitoring
Advise on regulatory developments and change initiatives




Draft and negotiate agreements and fund offering documents
Support registrations, filings, governance, and regulatory reporting
Requirements: Law degree and Ontario Law Society membership or eligibility
Approximately 5-10 years of legal or compliance experience
Understanding of Canadian securities regulatory instruments
Investment management or financial services advisory experience
Robust judgment, communication, analytical, and collaboration skills
Apply Canadian securities expertise and practical judgment to PIMCO’s legal, compliance, fund, and regulatory priorities.
