The Software Technical Leader is a senior individual-contributor role at Cisco. You will set technical direction for Orbital endpoint software and deliver customer-facing changes across endpoint systems and cloud services. The work spans operating-system integration, release readiness, security, performance, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities: Define architecture and technical direction for Orbital endpoint software
Lead initiatives across platforms, installers, packaging, and upgrades
Improve standards for testing, security, releases, and supportability
Investigate complex endpoint compatibility and performance issues




Mentor engineers and influence decisions without direct authority
Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus twelve related years, or equivalent experience
Production software development and delivery experience
Technical leadership experience in Go or comparable systems languages
Endpoint agent experience for Windows, mac OS, or Linux preferred
Production compatibility, reliability, or security issue experience preferred
