Assign and revise work by technicians and drafters assigned to the project and assess the technical scope
Be involved in commissioning
Help prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (P&IDs;, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details)
Help program PLCs, DCSs and operator interfaces
Monitor the project to ensure it remains on time and on budget

Overview Of Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
From 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in automation, instrumentation and control
Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)
Experience with pre-operational verifications (POVs) and commissioning
Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
Ability to draft technical documents in both English and French
Asset: knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS)
