Your Opportunity And Responsibilities
Translate and review texts relating to all of DCC’s activities
Perform translation quality control to ensure concordance, accuracy, clarity, etc.
Support development and maintenance of a comprehensive terminology management database
Support development and implementation of cutting-edge translation processes
Stay up to date with DCC-related terminology




Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal clients, external suppliers and networks
As the successful candidate, you may fulfill your role in hybrid mode (2 days a week in the office) if you live in the National Capital Region. You may also work remotely elsewhere in Canada (within easy commuting distance of a major centre or travel hub).
Your Skills And Experience
Minimum: university degree in translation, terminology, linguistic or related field
Experience: At least four years in translation, editing and use of translation software, preferably in an agency setting or as part of an internal translation service
Professional working knowledge of:
translation software and terminology management databases
professional writing rules and practices
current translation trends and best practices
