Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager (8+ years of experience) to lead end-to-end procurement transactions using strategic sourcing and contract negotiations- 58850
Join a procurement team supporting complex sourcing and contracting initiatives within a regulated banking environment. This role leads procurement activities from sourcing strategy through contract execution while partnering with suppliers, Legal, and risk and control functions. The position offers exposure to multiple transformation initiatives and the opportunity to manage high-impact procurement engagements across technology, qualified services, and enterprise functions.
Location: Toronto or Mississauga/Hybrid- 4 Days on Site
Duration: 10 Months (Chance of Extension)
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Must Haves
8+ years in procurement , strategic sourcing , or contract management
8+ years leading end-to-end procurement transactions from sourcing strategy through contract execution
Strong background negotiating commercial terms and contractual terms directly with suppliers
Experience partnering with Legal , business stakeholders,



and risk and control functions
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry
Professional procurement, supply chain, or contract management certification
Experience supporting technology, operations, or enterprise services procurement initiatives
Experience working within formal governance and risk management frameworks
Responsibilities
Lead procurement initiatives through the full procurement lifecycle from intake through executed agreement
Develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives and risk requirements
Manage supplier selection activities, commercial negotiations, contract negotiations, approvals, and execution activities
Evaluate supplier proposals and provide recommendations to stakeholders and senior management
Partner with Legal, Third Party Risk Management, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Finance, and other stakeholders
Identify and elevate risks, issues, and contractual exceptions
Provide strategic sourcing expertise and market insights to business partners
