Operate Alta Gas REEF from a Delta V DCS console in Prince Rupert, supporting propane, butane, LPG storage, and vessel loading operations.
As Operator 1, you will support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities in the field and control room. You will lead Plant and Rail Operators while coordinating with the Shift Supervisor and Senior Management. This full time position follows a seven-days-on, seven-days-off rotation with day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Operate Delta V DCS control systems proficiently
Support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities
Manage propane and butane process flows
Develop procedures and lockout/tagout packages
Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Five-plus years in gas plant or terminal operations
Minimum two years of control room experience
Fourth Class Power Engineering certification
Facility startup and commissioning experience
