Role overview The OT Cyber Security Advisor ensures project solutions are secure by design and comply with Hitachi Rail, Signalling and Rail Solutions (SRS), and customer cybersecurity requirements. The role guides, manages, and sometimes carries out project cybersecurity activities.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee cybersecurity activities across project and product development lifecycles, including planning, requirements, design, risk assessment, testing, and vulnerability management.
- Apply industry standards and methodologies for cybersecurity assessment and project development.
- Align project work with Hitachi Rail SRS cybersecurity guidelines and group processes.
- Assess bid requirements and incorporate them into project designs and cost options.
- Provide specialist consultation and conduct risk and technical vulnerability assessments.
- Coordinate with the Global Business Unit Ground Transportation Systems on corporate cybersecurity guidance. Qualifications




- More than five years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, design, risk assessment, and development.
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity processes, standards, and engineering and software development practices.
- CISSP or equivalent is preferred; IEC 62443 expertise is an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with ISO 27001/2, NIST SP 800 series, IEC 62443, product development, industrial engineering, or industrial control systems is preferred. Compensation and perks Base salary range: $114,000–$147,000 per year.
