Master embedded Linux, board bring-up, and system debugging at Corinex in Vancouver, supporting smart grid platforms worldwide. Take hands-on ownership across hardware and software. As a Senior Embedded Linux / BSP Platform Engineer, you will develop and troubleshoot platforms supporting Smart Metering Data Concentrators and BPL proxy solutions. The work spans bootloaders, kernels, Device Trees, device drivers, Yocto, networking, and security. You will independently resolve complex cross-layer issues through development, integration, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform board bring-up and hardware-software integration
- Develop and debug U-Boot, kernels, BSPs, and drivers
- Maintain Yocto layers, recipes, patches, and builds




- Implement embedded security and secure remote access
- Diagnose system issues using low-level debugging tools

Requirements:
- Five-plus years in embedded software development
- Robust C programming for low-level Linux systems
- Hands-on BSP, kernel, bootloader, and driver experience
- Practical Yocto/OpenEmbedded customization experience
