Architect resilient integration layers and unified customer journeys as a Software Engineering Team Lead in QFG’s hybrid Toronto or Calgary offices. Lead with GraphQL Federation, API Gateways, and distributed systems expertise. This Team Lead provides technical stewardship across legacy banking cores, microservices, and customer-facing workflows. You will guide orchestration, identity propagation, resilience engineering, and technical debt decisions. The role also mentors Pod engineers and partners with UX Research and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect resilient integration layers across heterogeneous systems
- Unify money transfer journeys across banking products
- Own SSO, session management, and identity propagation




- Implement circuit breakers, retries, and bulkhead isolation
- Lead outage analysis and structural technical fixes

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Seven-plus years of software development experience
- Technical leadership or Pod lead responsibilities
- Experience scaling GraphQL Federation or API Gateways
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, JWTs, and SSO Apply your integration architecture, resilience engineering, and technical leadership experience across QFG’s complex financial systems.
