Lead Generative AI model validation at TD in Montréal, using Python, deep learning, and critical analytical thinking. The role is office focused. As a Senior Applied Machine Learning Scientist, you will lead validation of Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM, NLP, and deep learning models. You will direct research and development in evaluation and testing while providing independent challenge to model developers. Your work supports appropriate model use across TD’s enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generative AI, Agentic AI, and LLM evaluation research
- Direct scientists validating complex artificial intelligence models
- Recommend approvals or corrective actions after independent validation
- Develop standards meeting policy, industry, academic, and regulatory requirements




- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in computer science, AI, engineering, statistics, or mathematics
- Four-plus years developing or validating relevant deep learning models
- Two-plus years leading a small machine learning scientist team
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Azure, AWS, or big data
- Knowledge of PyTorch, LangChain, LangGraph, HuggingFace, and explainability algorithms Apply Generative AI, Python, and model validation expertise while leading independent review for TD’s artificial intelligence models.
