McGill University seeks an Advancement Analyst skilled in data analysis and performance reporting for University Advancement in Montreal. This full time position supports strategic decisions. The Advancement Analyst supports University Advancement through trend monitoring, value-for-money analysis, benchmarking, and governance reporting. Working with team members, this role develops insights for senior management decision-making. Responsibilities include forecasting, data mining, KPI monitoring, and reporting across advancement activities. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct trend analyses, financial projections, and performance reporting Collect industry and benchmarking data supporting fundraising outcomes Develop and monitor key performance indicators Prepare reports, executive summaries,



and management analysis Enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and data structures Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience Strong SQL skills and multi-source data analysis experience Experience with Power BI, Python, R, Excel, or Salesforce reporting Knowledge of statistical and machine learning models is an asset Ability to communicate findings and manage multiple projects Apply advancement analytics, SQL, forecasting, and visualization expertise to support McGill University’s strategic fundraising decisions.
