Job Description Insight Global is seeking a lead Java developer in Toronto. You will be the primary point of contact for traders, Quants, and support partners across North America and APAC, and will lead development projects that expand the system's capabilities to support Capital Markets Macro trading business.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, you'll be writing production code daily while setting the technical direction for the work.

Skills and Requirements 8+ years of hands-on server-side Java development, with strong emphasis on concurrency, messaging, and event processing OR very strong C++ development1+ years setting technical direction in a lead or senior engineering capacity (hands-on technical leadership, not people management)Working knowledge of capital markets and the trade lifecycle, sufficient to communicate effectively with front office teamsCurve building and interest rate swap pricing knowledge, with hands-on experience in at least one of the following:Rates curve building and pricing, or Rates eTradingFX forward curve building and pricing, or FX eTradingCredit curve building and pricing, or Credit eTradingDesign and implementation of low-latency trading applications using real-time messaging technologies (Solace,
