As a Senior BESS Inverter Performance Engineer at e-STORAGE, you will investigate operating projects and distinguish software, firmware, controls, hardware, design, and power-system causes. The work supports corrective actions, retrofit execution, and validation across multiple sites. You will also address voltage, frequency, real-power, and reactive-power issues involving site or grid conditions. Key Responsibilities:

Prioritize inverter performance issues across operating BESS projects Perform root-cause analysis using data, evidence, and technical review Maintain vendor issue logs through validation and closure Review firmware updates, design changes,



and retrofit proposals Track retrofit deployment, risks, evidence, and closure criteria Requirements:

Engineering degree in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering Minimum five years in renewable energy or battery storage Knowledge of inverter operation, controls, firmware, and hardware Experience troubleshooting inverter or BESS issues using event logs Ability to travel up to twenty percent, sometimes on short notice Apply inverter performance, power-systems, and corrective-action expertise to strengthen e-STORAGE BESS projects across Canada or the United States.
