As Manager, Surety, you will lead underwriters and strengthen Intact’s Specialty Solutions offering. The work combines coaching, broker relationship management, underwriting decisions, portfolio performance, and operational execution. Your insurance or financial background and people skills will support complex risk management. Key Responsibilities:

Coach underwriters through guidance, reviews, feedback, and training plans Own broker relationships, account planning,



and performance updates Lead complex account negotiations and escalation support Manage profitable portfolios within underwriting authority Monitor workflow, service levels, and cross-functional collaboration Requirements:

Degree or equivalent education and experience Eight to ten years of Contract Surety experience One to two years of supervisory experience preferred Strategic communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities Willingness to travel ten to fifteen percent Bring contract surety expertise, underwriting leadership, and broker relationship skills to Intact’s growing Specialty Solutions team.
