Lead major-gift fundraising for Stella's Place in Toronto, combining donor stewardship and strategic relationship-building within a hybrid senior leadership position. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director, Major Gifts, advances transformational philanthropic support for Stella's Place. You will manage major-gift prospects, foundations, and corporate partners while leading development staff and cultivating support for young adults. The position requires 5+ years of progressive major-gift fundraising experience. Key Responsibilities:





Develop major-gift strategies targeting annual revenue of $1.5M–$2M Manage portfolios of 100–150 major-gift prospects Lead complex solicitations and prepare tailored proposals Coach volunteers through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship Manage direct reports and collaborate across development teams Requirements:

Five-plus years of progressive fundraising experience Proven record closing five- and six-figure gifts Ability to structure complex financial gifts Solid donor relations, writing, planning, and analytical skills Experience managing direct-report relationships Bring major-gift strategy, donor stewardship, and team leadership to Stella's Place in Toronto through hybrid work.
