Join our team as a full-time Technical Operations Officer, working on-site primarily in Etobicoke, with coverage across Whitby and Oakville. Take on a recent challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of train services by monitoring train performance and identifying potential mechanical issues before they affect on-time performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Control Supervisors, Outpost Technicians, and Train Operating Crews, to ensure smooth operations and timely communication, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of monitoring locomotive, coach, DMU, and train service health using advanced health monitoring systems, but also implement recovery plans during service disruptions to minimize delays. Monitoring train performance using resources like Intellitrain, CDS, Witronix,
