The salary range for this position is CAD $33.49
- $35.31 / hour Under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator, Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) Program, the position participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team, assists in the planning and implementation of support services and social/recreational programs, and provides supportive counselling within established guidelines. Assists staff in planning and implementing social, recreational and vocational activities and groups for clients. # Assists clinical staff in the planning and implementation of psychoeducational and lifeskills groups as required. # Provides one-to-one supportive counselling to clients by methods such as problem solving, de-escalation techniques, and activity-focused interventions. # Provides clients with transportation and accompaniment to and from group, work sites, educational institutions, recreational events, training events, and appointments. # Degree in Social Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.



Class V Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business purposes. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work with adolescents with mental health/psychiatric issues. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
