This role is in support of Cencora’s patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business. Performs specialty pharmacy support and operations activities across prescription intake, benefit verification, claims follow-up, prior authorization support, and fulfillment workflows using established procedures and quality standards. Coordinates daily work to support turnaround times, accurate documentation, and reliable handoffs across pharmacy operations. Assist Pharmacist or the Registered Pharmacy Technician in filling prescriptions Enter, scan and process prescriptions using Kroll Pharmacy software Maintain accurate data in pharmacy files and computer drives Verify that customer receives correct prescription(s); Answer the phone and respond to inquires from internal and external customer Screen telephone calls for the Pharmacist(s) Order, receive and maintain inventory of medications Prepare and process billings, claims, disbursements and related documents Pack and ship prescription orders according to established protocols Maintain pharmacy records Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and, where applicable, internal and contractual obligations Assist in general housekeeping and administrative duties; The Pharmacy Assistant will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time. High school diploma preferred Pharmacy experience an asset Proficiency in Kroll an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills Bilingualism,



French/English is an asset Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Previous experience in cold-chain distribution an asset Previous experience with biological and/or cytotoxic medication and sterile preparation an asset Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Work Experience 2+ years of experience in pharmacy support, healthcare operations, claims processing, medication access, fulfillment support, or a related operational environment required. Certification in pharmacy technician practice, or equivalent preferred.
