Apex Crest Consulting is the company behind Safeguard, software that helps payment and e-money firms run their safeguarding reconciliations and keep the evidence auditors ask for. Safeguard supports the UK’s CASS 15 rules and Canada’s Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA). We’re looking for two freelance appointment setters, one based in the UK and one in Toronto. Each engagement runs for one month, two days a week. You’ll book introductory calls with compliance and finance leaders at regulated payment firms in your market:
• UK: FCA-authorised payment and e-money institutions.
• Canada: payment service providers registered with the Bank of Canada. What you’ll do
• Call and email a prepared list of payment firms in your market
• Have short, professional conversations with compliance officers, finance directors and heads of operations
• Book qualified calls into the founder’s calendar (UK-based; Toronto slots agreed to suit both time zones)
• Keep a simple log of calls, outcomes and next steps What we’re looking for
• Experience in B2B outbound calling or appointment setting
• Confidence speaking with senior people in regulated firms
• Financial services, payments, fintech or SaaS experience is a strong plus
• Explicit spoken and written English, and reliable note-keeping
• Based in the UK, or in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area
