Actively Looking for Construction Estimator

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to define scope and requirements Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and internal stakeholders Develop and submit bids and proposals within strict deadlines Track and incorporate addendums, revisions, and scope changes into estimates Maintain awareness of market pricing, construction methods, and industry trends Support project handoff to operations teams post-award Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and accuracy Assist with additional pre-construction tasks as required Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements ~2-3+ years of experience in construction estimating ~ Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications ~ Proficiency in estimating software and digital takeoff tools ~ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) ~ Strong analytical, numerical,



and problem-solving capabilities ~ High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines ~ Effective communication and coordination skills ~ Ability to manage multiple estimates and priorities simultaneously Preferred Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Valid driver's licence Experience working with subcontractors and supplier networks Work Environment & Schedule Employment Type: Full-time Work Model: In office
