- Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full‑time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Works in coordination with resident's, families, medical, professional and support staff to achieve quality resident care. Major responsibilities are coordination of resident care, delivery and service to assigned shift. This includes staff replacement, supervision of staff, quality management and education as assigned. Combination of education and experience will be considered including recent student practicum. Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing or Registered Psychiatric Nursing Education Program (BN is preferred). Certificate in Gerontology an asset. Current registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Manitoba (CRPNM). Ability to prioritize care for an individual resident to a group of residents. Ability to delegate care appropriately and monitor outcomes of delegated care.



Ability to perform independently and as a member of the health care team. Demonstrated ability to communicate in English; both orally and in writing. Must be adaptable. Involves physical activities such as standing, transferring and transporting residents and equipment. May encounter exposure to disease, radiation, toxic material, noise, allergens, blood, feces, body fluids, etc. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
