About the Role
Our client is seeking Journeyman CNC Machinists with experience working with steel to join their shop team. You will operate a CNC lathe or CNC mill to produce custom, precise, machined components, primarily servicing the oil/gas and heavy construction industries. Operate the CNC lathe and/or CNC mill, ensuring accurate cutting of metal components Read and interpret drawings and fabrication layouts Setup CNC machines, report any required maintenance or repairs, perform routine maintenance Help with various shop related duties as required CNC Journeyman Machinist designation is required Solid experience operating a CNC lathe and/or CNC mill (experience with both is a plus) Experience operating Okuma and/or Haas equipment (strong asset, not mandatory) Experience producing custom, low-volume, machined components for oil/gas or heavy construction clients We believe in diversity of thought and experience.
